The Short Version

We collect minimal data, don't track you, and don't sell your information. Your pastes are stored to provide the service, and that's it.

What We Collect

Content You Upload

When you create a paste, we store the markdown content you provide. This is necessary to display your paste when someone visits the link.

Technical Information

We may collect basic technical information for rate limiting and abuse prevention:

  • IP addresses - Temporarily used for rate limiting (10 requests/minute). Not stored long-term.
  • Request timestamps - Used for rate limiting. Automatically deleted after the rate limit window.

What We Don't Collect

  • No analytics or tracking scripts
  • No cookies (except if you save theme preference locally)
  • No personal information unless you include it in your paste
  • No third-party trackers
  • No advertising

How We Store Data

Paste content is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure (R2 for content, D1 for metadata). Data is stored in data centers that may be located in various countries.

Data Retention

Pastes are stored indefinitely unless removed for violating our terms or upon request. We do not currently offer automatic expiration, but may add this feature in the future.

Public Content

All pastes are publicly accessible via their unique URLs. Do not upload sensitive, private, or confidential information. Anyone with the link can view your paste.

Third Parties

We use Cloudflare for hosting and infrastructure. Their privacy policy applies to their processing of requests. We do not share your data with any other third parties.

Your Rights

You can request deletion of your paste by contacting us with the paste URL. Since pastes are anonymous, we cannot verify ownership, but we will consider removal requests on a case-by-case basis.

Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy occasionally. Check back for updates. Continued use after changes means you accept the new policy.
